♥A week's review (Sunday, June 03, 2007 / 11:06 am)
this has been quite a happening week for me.
on monday morning, while i was lying on my bed,
unwillingly to open my eyes to face the world yet
i received a call from adecco,
to ask me to embark on a temp job immediately at 11am.
as the pay was quite attractive,
i agreed on the job and pulled myself out of the bed and get ready.
so i had a 2-days temp job at novena square office tower
the company was full of hectic ppl.
there were ppl who were friendly, nice and approachable,
ppl who were not-too-nice and friendly
and this guy who keeps making comments (quite sarcastically)
but what to do, i guess this is the typical working society.
i feel that i'm still a baby in this world.
there were so many things to learn
and responsibilities to pick up.
on the very 2 days,
it was scary to pick up the calls
as i simply have no idea how or who to refer the customers to
i was only told to transfer the calls
but apparently, each call oftens request more than that.
luckily, there were a few ppl i could approach.
I'm so glad that I'm at least blessed with ppl who are kind to help me.
on wed, i went over to adecco to hand in my timesheet,
n my agent got me another job which i had to have the interview on Fri.
this is good coz i get to work again
the agency is pretty efficient
but the job she got for me is meant for diploma holders
hence, the possibility is rather low.
after the trip, i went over to Shan's hse for a while.
it was a long day as at night, dad got someone over to install some programs onto the new com. feel quite apologetic for being harsh towards the cute guy. lol
but i juz wan to get things done.
or maybe this is wad I have learnt from all the nasty customers I had attended to
over the year.
CUSTOMER's RIGHT---they always told me.
the poor guy worked till 1 plus in the morning. but a relief, the necessary things r done.
actually many things happened but the details shall kept within the family, specifically ting n me :P
on fri, it was a bad day.
i prepared myself for the interview since the morning.
managed to find the place and realised that i was early.
and i waited for 45 mins for my turn.
the interview went smoothly
but on my way home, it was pouring
n i damaged my new white heels
and tore my best black pants!!!!!!
it was so heart-piercing.......
i was totally drenched when i reached the bus stop as i had onli one small and pathetic pink umbrella.
but i still did not get any confirmation on the job yet.
the agent said she would call me on mon due to some reasons from the company
hopefully they accept me but wun request me to start work on mon
coz i planned to bring my laptop to sch on mon to fix it
i have contacted my sch's helpdesk,
apparently, my laptop's spyware has been affected.
sigh, why do i face so much crap from these IT equipment nowadays?
IT equipment supposed to boost the workings of a life.
However, many a times, I feel they create more problems than good promises.
