♥my hectic wednesday (Wednesday, February 13, 2008 / 2:51 pm)
I went for my 2nd blood test of the year.
This time, it's quite expensive, $45.70! and the nurse took 3 tubes of my blood *faint faint*
For no reason, I dunno why but felt the pain when she injected the needle in.
Usually, I'm quite ok with the pain from those needles.
As usual, the nurse could not find any blood vessels or capillaries(dunno wad it is called) on my right hand.
And the blood kept oozing out despite I pressed hard when she put the plaster on.
Before I headed off, the receptionist told me to come back 2 weeks again to check test results... *sianz sianz*

So I went for lunch wif dad, mum at our favourite hor fun stall, after which headed to the temple to bai tai sui.
The few hectic hours in the morning tired me out so easily.
But i still came back to np by walking a long long distance under the hot sun.
I was so tempted to hop onto another bus since I got concession now.
But dad n mum dun have, so they insisted to walk.
After I reached np, I was sooo pleased to feel the air-conditioned breeze. Then I hurried up to popular to help ting purchase her vday tools and I bought some cards too. Some for vday, one for my dear friend who is having her bday on coming Friday.
Since young, I always love to receive cards on special days.
Though some people might now think giving cards are for secondary school kids
I beg to differ.
I love it when i feel the blessings from the words my friend wrote on the cards.
Especially, few years later, during a springcleaning, i would re-read all the sweet greetings my friends have for me.
And I always keep all the cards my friends gave me in a nice box.
This box is full of Bday cards, Chinese New Year cards, Xmas cards or Vday cards.
I hardly throw them away. {Unless they r my foul enemies now)
However, I no longer receive many cards now.
My friends all prefer to give me presents for bday, flowers for vday.
Although, these presents r great too, I feel the lack of cards that deliver messages to complement the present.
Because of this reason, for the past few years, I made it a point to make cards for all my dear friends for Vday even though they might throw away after reading it, chucked it in the corner of the house, or think it's a cheapskate thing.
At least I sincerely made it with my heart.
For tml, the upcoming Vday, due to my hectic schedule and assignments due on thur and fri, I am not going to make cards anymore!
But I will continue to give my friends cards, onli that I bought a few from the Popular. And I decided to just give to a few friends.
I also bought one card for xin yu since her bday is on friday.

*anyway nowadays cards are not that cheap too. the cheapest vday card i could find cost abt $5!!! *faint faint
and here are some of the mahjong pics I have taken during the chinese new year break.
mainly because my mum was toking on the phone in the midst of our mahjong session,
everyone had to stop because she needed to talk on the phone and that was an important call.
but everyone was bored, so we started to treat mahjong like LEGO and start building.

and before I end off, here is my invitation card to my 21st bday party!
is it coming soon liao?
still pondering on whether i shld extend the invitation to a few close ones to stay over....hmm
