♥1st celebration for the end of my exams (Tuesday, May 06, 2008 / 10:51 pm)
5 mths of hard work have finally came to an end yesterday.
i have planned for kbox session and shopping spree before the start of the exam so that i have something to look forward to, especially most of my friends would end only on thursday or friday.
millions of thanks to mei mei who kindly take off in her midst of her hectic work to accompany me for the day. *muackz
the singing session was great even though gst and service charge are super pricey nowadays. talking abt price inflation, we went for the klunch package today and there were a couple of disappointment.
the lunch was no longer as delicious as before. i wonder if it was due to the super off-peak weekday, the lunch served wasn't as sumptous as what I used to have.
we were given the choice of seafood fried rice and salmon cutlet, so we ordered each of them to share.

my seafood friend rice was satisfactory, partly because the gyoza given were considerably okay but the salmon cutlet was over-fried, i guess.
it was so hard to bite and in the end, i could only taste the flour instead of the salmon.
and the peas given seemed abit cheapskate too.
We din touch the cakes too, because personally, I felt tt the cake (probably mango) tasted abit sour and weird.
Also, I remember last time I could order honey water for this package, but wasn't given the choice to, for today.
In spite of tt, the service provided by one of the waiters was pretty good, even though his colleague failed to bring my sis a coke after half an hour of ordering.
the few hours of singing was accompanied by few moments of cam-whoring.
after our singing session, we shopped around orchard mainly to get our formal office wear for coming internship and also may's present.

well, in the end, I managed to get my office wear after walking few hours along the orchard road, and mei mei's prized trophy of the day are a hat, top and handbag.
as for may's present, even though I looked around, I'm still clueless in getting what present for her.
anyway, we spent a bomb today before we finally headed home to get back in time for dinner, as promised.
*sidenote: mei mei is in her latest craze for hats, which I think she looks pretty good in it. *smilez*

one day of rest before internship starts, but tml's gonna be a busy day with 2 tuitions as well...
this week is gonna be an exciting one too, because, there's may's upcoming bday party and stayover and mother's day too!
and a big hole in my pocket....
