♥我最近过得怎么样？ (Sunday, June 22, 2008 / 1:26 pm)
我从blog消失了一阵子，可是不是因为没东西写，而是最近过得太丰富，太精彩，太忙了。。。
所以好多事都来不及blog...
大多数是朋友的聚会，实习时的活动，还有自己的旅游计划。总而言之，过得非常充实就对了。可是，荷包也就变得空空了。有好多照片要post，这将会是非常长的一则。。。
1.
Daddy's bday 11.06.08
We held the celebration for daddy's 53th bday at Sakura Buffet. It was late in the evening when everyone knocked off from work and rushed to meet at the Somerset MRT station.
It was one of the days that Dad highly anticipated. He had been talking abt going to Sakura on his bday months ago. As it was one of the rare occassions that he actually made a request, we had no qualms about fulfilling it.
Actually he bought a new shirt for himself to wear on tt day, but mummy stopped him from wearing it coz she said it's not nice. I felt quite sorry for him, coz someone poured him cold water on his excitement.
After the celebration, I realized how wrong children always perceive their parents. We might think that parents demand lots of things from us, but everytime, when we do ponder over this, there's only one thing they wanted from us---our company and attention.
I realise that sometimes my dad talks and does things in the way to catch our attention on him. And frankly speaking, I always failed to express my concern on him verbally to him. I know it sounds cliche, but I really feel that he is a great 24-hr dad who is always there for us but we never discern his loneliness while we are all busy with my own life.
Nevertheless, DADDY, WE LOVE YOU!!!!

KL trip 17.06.08
It was a very last minute decision to go to Kuala Lumpur for a short shopping trip. Things were planned and booked only 2 weeks prior to the departure date. Anyway, I was so proud that I handled everything myself.
Though I can't say that it was a super smooth trip, I did enjoy myself with all the shopping and eating. Total expenses were below my planned budget as initially i worried too much that we wound not have sufficient money to last us till the last day.But I still regretted not bringing my debit card over
Another little regret for the trip is that Ivan fell sick and I had slight food poisoning on the 3rd day of the trip.

It was pretty madness on our first day when we kept losing our directions and got to keep asking people, some of them whom helped us and some whom did not understand English.

Shortly after we arrived at KLIA, we crazily ran and rushed to the other side of the airport to catch the KL Eskpress which was to depart to KL Sentral in 1 min's time.
When we reached at Imbi station finally, I almost fainted when we realized that we got to carry our entire luggage manually down the stairs as there was no descending escalator. lol.

Eventually, we checked into the hotel safe and sound after heaving all the excitement in navigating and we went to the Jalan Alor for a sumptuous zi-char dinner.
After which, we went to Times Square for shopping, items there are pricey anyway.
The next few days, we generally buried ourselves in Sungei Wang and the other shopping centres, haggling on prices and choosing our items. We abandoned the trip to Sunway Lagoon and KLCC as Ivan wasn't feeling too well to go far.
We went for Spa as well... This was my maiden trip to SPA. We went for body scrub, eye treatment and aromatherapy massage. It was a luxurious enjoyment. The massage was quite painful that made me think that perhaps I might have been very unhealthy. After the massage, I felt that my muscles and back are quite relaxed though...

cousin's wedding 21.06.08
We went to one of my super-not-close cousin's wedding dinner at York hotel. It wasn't an extremely joyous day for me. The dinner is more of like the gathering between my family and my closest cousins and our own phototaking indulgence that shuts the rest of the world.
