Lady Luck is smiling at me since yesterday. Surprises and good news kept coming to me.

It was my first time going to Engineering study room for project meeting and we discovered a free buffet at level one when Jenice and I reached there. 1 hour later, Jenice suggested that we should go down and help ourselves to it. Therefore, with all the commotion we made, we went down and tried our luck.

When we were all holding our plates, really to embark on our 'feast', an officer came and spoke to me. He asked me if I had any questions about the talk just now and if I will be interested to join them or something like that. Only then, I realised that it was some Navy talk and a quick glance around, people who were taking the food were all guys~_~

Split seconds, it also dawned to me that the talk was probably attended mostly by guys. No wonder the officer came over to speak to me due to the sudden appearance of 4 girls along the buffet aisle. Fortunately, he was able to take the hint when I looked at him and then at my plate. So he smiled and said, "Take your food first, we'll talk later".

After taking all the food, we evacuated the place as fast as we could. Almost dashed to the lift that would bring us back to the study room where we finally could eat with a piece of mind.

Furthermore, it was finalised that I could go for Hiroshima Homestay!!!!!!! And I will be going to Tokyo and more!!! This is so exciting... making me almost restless for rushing projects...

Today, despite the long day of project meetings, I came home and found this gadget on my computer desktop.

A PINK 250GB portable hard disk!!!! It was a sweet surprise from my dad. I am so touched. I only mentioned it to him last week that I feel like getting one and asked him to help me check out the price. Unexpectedly, he bought it for me instead!!!!
