♥last of Japan-Odaiba, Tokyo Dome, Harajuku, Shibuya (Sunday, February 01, 2009 / 12:57 am)
-Odaiba-
I guess usually when visitors head to Odaiba, Fuji Television Office is not something that they will take off their touring list.
There were some showcases of the popular dramas and drama settings there.
I think the building itself looks pretty cool, beats the structure of our broadcast centre here.
-the Christmas tree at the front of the building-
And here is the Japan's replica of the Statue of Liberty, overlooking the Rainbow bridge in Tokyo Bay.
*This statue of Liberty was there initially to commemorate the French Year in Japan. There is another replica in Americamura in Osaka-Wikipedia :)
I wonder why the Japanese want sooo many of the statue of Liberty in their country. Is it to show that their great passion and idolism in America culture? *shrugs
But for me, since I dun have the $$$ to go to New York to see one, I just had to make do with this replica. lol
These few views weren't exactly spectacular unlike what I had heard from others as a scenic and romantic place (because there were beaches and park underneath where I was standing) and they named the bridge Rainbow Bridge Then later, I realised that we had gone at a wrong time. We should have visited the place in the evening to view the sunset and the nightview.

See? With the correct lighting, the same view will become amazing.
-Heading to Tokyo Dome, picture with the amusement park there.
The Tokyo Dome resembles our esplanade. So now, who copy who?
-Interesting sightings at other places-
Cosplay culture, people who dressed in cosplay costumes but refused to let other people to take photographs of them and with them. Another behavior I couldn't really understand.
-Shibuya, the best shopping place. But they were all selling winter clothings, so it wasn't quite appropriate to shop there. A pity though.
-Statue of Hachiko, the loyal dog who waited at the train station everyday for its master but who never came back (I think)
They even put a christmas hat for the dog, how sweet....
-Candid shots....taken by Jenice-
-view of our hotel room-
-My dear boots accompanied me for the 14 days, walked hills and slopes with me, and I was pretty sorry they got into this state.
*On the last day, I left them in the hotel for them to dispose of it.*
