a random day-out (Friday, April 17, 2009 / 9:32 pm)

Fauz, Jen and I went to check out the new tampines one shopping centre today. Specially to find out wad's the buzz about tampines one.

After some discussion, we decided to lunch at Saycheese, a restaurant which we were not familiar with. We were attracted partly because the place seemed to be patronized by many people. In fact, it was full house and we had to wait outside for quite a while.

So when we finally got to enter and promptly ordered our own share of food. We cam-whored to kill the time. Only to discover that other customers who came in much earlier than us were still waiting for food. *faint*

In the end, I was whining every other 2 seconds about the slow speed. We were famished and almost tooo hungry to carry on with our nonsensical talk.

So finally, after waiting for approx 40 minutes, the food arrived. We were quite shocked at its quantity BUT the food did taste good and fresh.

We took some photos of them and then gobbled down our food. lol...

the window view from where I was sitting...

After lunch, we went all the way to its top floor and began shopping at every level, almost every single shop unit. Fauz was even almost eager to enter a maternity shop. lol.... There was this shop at the highest level which sells really cool items. I can't remember the name of the shop though. But it sells tissue holder that looks like toilet bowl or cup noodle, really fascinating umbrellas. However, the price is quite costly.

And there was this cushion that felt really soft and comfortable but it was $59.90!!!! I almost fainted on the spot.

As we headed down the floors, there was Uniqlo where there were still long queues outside the store. We decided to forgo queuing to save time.

There was this Mickey Unlimited store that reminds me of my time at Tokyo Disneyland because it sells all sorts of Disney merchandise. I was quite engrossed in browsing around while Fauz tagged along me with a blank and helpless face...lol...

Anyway, I wanted to take pic with this wall at the front of the shop. Jenice accompanied me so that I dun feel too paiseh... lol...

Later on the day, Fauz brought us to the century square's '5-star' toilet where there is a purple sofa and pink chairs everywhere for ladies to sit and touch up their make-up. We abused them by sitting on them to rest because we were all too exhausted after consecutive hours of shopping.

-I like this pic!!!!-

-Omg, the toilet sign is directly resting on my head!!!!-

We headed home in the evening. I bet everyone of us is very tired and legs were all aching....
