This weekend was full of celebrations. From the celebrations of the last paper at NUS, Mother's day and May's birthday,I have been sooo busy since the clock struck 11am last Friday.
Yes, that also signified the end of my last paper at NUS (I hope) and round up my university life.
NUS has been a rather contradictory memory for me. I hated its individualistic studying environment where people come and go just for tutorial and projects. I hated its competitiveness where B and C grades are considered below mediocre.
For someone who is not heavily involved in CCA in university, I'm really glad to have met this group of girls who really added some colours to my university days.
Here are the memories we took around the campus and our major department after our paper.

Elmie wasn't around so Mel took with his mailbox instead. Nonsensical idea again. ha..
By the time we took this picture, we were feeling super exhausted because of the humidity and heat. We decided to proeced to Jurong Point to fill our stomach since Mel and Fauz could not join us for our initial Sentosa Trip.
I'm totally into Jurong Point. lol. especially the New York New York there. Friendly staff with all smiles and politeness. Staff who would initiate to help you take photographs because they realise that one would be left out in the picture without their help. This initiative is really something applaudable. Singapore should have more of this customer service. Take the initiative to offer even before your customer requests for it.
Anyway, the food was delicious. I love the dish that I ordered. The spare ribs were tasty and tender, the creamy sauce was surprisingly tolerable and well, I love the green apple cooler too. :)
Following the next day, I woke up early for tuition, then rushed to Jurong Point again for Mother's Day celebration and in the evening, rushed to met Andreas for May's birthday dinner. The day was really like a marathon to me, racing against time.
Mummy was craving for Crystal Jade so we went to have lunch there and I ordered my favourite Xiao Long Bao!!!! We ordered 6 dishes and the bill wasn't too much of a damage to our surprise.
there were more dishes but papa was too hungry to wait for all to come and me to take photos of them, so we started eating them.
After lunch, we shopped around. I was like splurging again because I bought a pair of Charles & Keith heels and some earrings for myself and for May as birthday present. Mei Mei and I also bought a bracelet for my mum.
In the evening, met up with Andreas and May, immersing myself in Andrea's jokes and humour as usual. It's always like the Sun is right in front of me when she's around...lol...She brightens up everyone's day, I guess.
I insisted taking picture of the birthday girl because, you know, birthday luck... They were laughing at me, but I dun care...*shrug*
Then, I approached a woman to help us take the pic and she really cannot make it. Her hand shook like hell whenever she snapped the button. The pic turned our sooooo blur, the blurest picture I have ever seen. In the end, we were pretty frustrated and May suggested to put self-timer. So randomly, we put my camera on top of the machine (those for small kids to slot in their coins and turn for a toy)
Sunday, was another rushing day for me as well. Tuition in the morning, and trial test in the afternoon, compiling my portfolio and writing resume and cover letters! I'm so proud of myself that I churned out 5 different cover letters in a night! lol
And I went for a job interview today at Parkview Square, the place is gorgeous and so classic Art Deco style. There were bronze status of famous people at its entrance like Shakespeares. I wanted take photo of it but it was raining sooo heavily and I din want to get my handphone wet!
So I googled it online and this is what I found!

And now, finally some time to kill in front of the computer. Tml will be another hectic day as I need to check in for the cruise and attend my driving lesson again. But Wed is coming soon!!! Feeling super excited!
