when you know you are enjoying ur life... (Sunday, November 01, 2009 / 12:08 pm)

I have been delaying the updates in my blog...

Work is taking the toil of me as many a times, I couldn't make myself stay awake when I reached home from work. lol

And one good news is I'M GETTING PAY RISE IN MY TEMP JOB!

something to celebrate for the week... :)

Anyway, going to blog about some events and you will understand how carefree life is when you step out of NUS...lol
Lots of birthdays from Sep to Nov :)

1. Ivan's bday celebration at my house
2. Andreas' bday party
3. Outing with 5 bangs at Sci Centre

Ivan's 20th
We held a mini bday celebration for Ivan in late September. (yes...it was dated so long ago and I only managed to blog about it now...)
He came over to our house for a cozy birthday feast prepared by mummy and mei mei bought him this cake for a surprise.

He's like officially part of the family, isn't he? *smilez*

Andreas' bbq party
Headed to Andreas' bbq party at Pasir Ris Park one Friday evening after my work.
I was soo looking forward to it and was rushing my work throughout the whole afternoon so that I could leave on time.

Surprisingly, I bumped into ZL and MH at Pasir Ris interchange while I was waiting for the bus to come. And many of the friends were there by the time we reached. Saw juniors and the usual gang of people.

Took lots of photos for the night. Laughed for sooo many times for the night. I love spending time with them. They made my worries, sadness and angst go far far away.

So here are my laughing pills.......

One of my best friends who knows what I'm thinking before I tell her my thoughts...it's hard to find ppl who can play hard with you and yet a good listener to your woes and sorrows...

the BBQ heroes of the night...

the gay friends...

We even went for 2nd half of the celebration at Cineleisure KBOX and sang all the way till 6am. However, I was officially knocked out at 5am. Was sleeping my way through for the last one hour. To think, I was so sleepy that I didn't feel like eating my favourite egg mac muffin after that.

At Science centre...

Yes, 5 bangs finally meet up though Nat and Fauzzie were still missing out in our gathering. sad lor...
That day, we headed to the Bodyworlds exhibition and I was pretty curious to see what was the whole rave abt the exhibition. Well...got to say it didn't disappoint me or scare me out (because those were real corpses...) It was surprisingly enjoyable and I was amazed at how they were preserved and sculptured into those seemingly tsngible 'texture' and positions.

Definitely a place where Biology students would love it...

No photography was allowed though. (and of course, even if they allow, I wun take pics of them..because I am very superstitious wan...and scarli history repeats itself...lol)

Anyway, Science Centre was still a reasonable place to camwhore...

We headed to a Korean restaurant at Jurong Point for dinner. It has an authentic Korean setting and dishes (you got to see the steel chopsticks and bowls!). The food was good but too spicy (I could sense the hotness burning in my throat and stomach after the whole meal!) And I LS for the next 2 days lor...lol

I was so exhausted at the end of the day...age is catching up on me lor..haha

I'm definitely going to fulfill one of my resolutions of 2009, which is to spend more quality time with my friends!!!!

Coming up...will blog on my sister's surprise bday party
