♥a heavily loaded weekend (Thursday, April 08, 2010 / 5:31 pm)
I was pretty affected by an accident over last weekend, and I can't help feeling how life's so unpredictable and vulnerable.
There are many things that people take for granted. While I'm busy worrying or whining abt how little rest I got becuz of working life, there is someone out there in the hospital fighting to stay alive.
It never ever cross to me that people as young as us would leave the world at this young age until, my junior, C who was a very bubbly and outstanding girl passed away this Jan. And now, becoz of a travel trip, Y is seriously injured n declared almost brain-dead in hospital.
Perhaps, while we are crying our hearts out, God has decided new and better plans for them.

To my dearest bro I,
I believe every little thing in our life is pre-planned by God and God has its reason for it. What happened is an accident. Your sweet-natured friend would like to see you learn and mature from the accident and not trapped in the boundless of guilt-stricken misery.
You know, we cannot turn our time back, so don't waste the life your friend has sacrificed to help u all grow.
Its painful but the living like you and me have to be strong.
Life is just a chance to grow a soul. And in the end, it's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years... When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes the treasure.

Now, I strongly believe in cherishing your loved ones whenever you can. Live your everyday to ur fullest so you wun have regrets if you do not have tomorrow.
On a brighter note, I headed to RWS wif hunny mainly to take a look of how I.R is like before the soft opening of my com.
It was a rainy day. We din have plans to go Universal studio so we basically walked ard the area and shops.
Everywhere was wet because the buildings couldn't really shelter the people properly from the rain. I happened to enter a gift shop that has roof leaking, and the staff had to resort to putting buckets everywhere in the shop to collect the leaking rainwater. I think, it was pretty a disappointing sight for a tourist attraction.
What I like most abt the RWS is to take pics with the Universal Studio globe. lol...Hunny and I cam-whored for XXXth time juz in front of the globe alone. We are waiting for RWS grand opening where we will go to the Universal Studio.
Towards evening, we headed to the Merlion, Siloso beach and Song of the Sea at night. I din enter the casino though we took pics at its entrance. Becuz I'll be workin in the competitor one, I can't enter the RWS one due to some regulations.
I'll never play in there anyway though casino games are fun :) :)
While waiting for Song of the sea to commence, it started drizzling again and we ended up watching the show in rain. It's pretty romantic if there aren't thousands of people sitting ard you. :P
I find Song of the Sea mediocre. It's not too bad but I have seen better shows than this better. And moreover, those shows I have seen were free of charge while Song of the Sea charges 10 bucks. I find it too pricey though. But Hunny loved the show...lol
And here are some pics of my training outings...Basically got lots of pics taken at the dinner table...lol...
-grooming class :)
